Day by Day Itinerary Wildlife Wonderland: Tarangire & Ngorongoro 5 Days
Day 1: Arrival in Arusha and Overnight
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your safari guide and transferred to your accommodations in Arusha. Spend the evening relaxing and preparing for your upcoming adventure.
Day 2: Transfer to Tarangire National Park
After an early breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park. Upon arrival, check into your tented camp or lodge and enjoy a refreshing lunch. In the afternoon, set out on your first game drive through the park, marveling at the diverse landscapes and abundant wildlife.
Day 3: Full Day in Tarangire National Park
Spend a full day exploring the wonders of Tarangire National Park. Your experienced safari guide will take you on morning and afternoon game drives, ensuring you have the best possible chances of spotting the park’s iconic residents, such as elephants, lions, leopards, and a vast array of bird species. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the heart of the park, surrounded by the stunning natural beauty.
Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater
After an early breakfast, depart Tarangire and head towards the Ngorongoro Crater. Descend into the crater for an unforgettable game drive, where you’ll have the opportunity to witness a remarkable concentration of wildlife, including endangered black rhinos, lions, hyenas, wildebeest, zebras, and countless other species. Day 5: Ngorongoro Conservation Area and Departure
After an early morning game drive in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, bid farewell to this incredible region and embark on your journey back to Arusha or Kilimanjaro International Airport. En route, you’ll have the opportunity to stop for a brief visit to a local Maasai village (optional) to learn more about their rich traditions and way of life. Arrive at the airport or your accommodations in Arusha, where your unforgettable safari comes to an end.
