Day 1: Arrival in Arusha and Overnight

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your safari guide and transferred to your accommodations in Arusha. Spend the evening relaxing and preparing for your upcoming adventure.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park

After an early breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its vast landscapes, iconic baobab trees, and incredible concentration of wildlife, particularly during the dry season. Upon arrival, enjoy an afternoon game drive through the park, marveling at the diverse array of species, including large herds of elephants.

Day 3: Tarangire National Park and Lake Manyara National Park

Spend the morning exploring the wonders of Tarangire on a game drive before continuing your journey to Lake Manyara National Park. Despite its small size, Lake Manyara boasts a remarkable diversity of habitats, from the shallow alkaline lake to the groundwater forests and acacia woodlands. Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater

Enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor, surrounded by the stunning natural amphitheater.

Day 5: Serengeti National Park

Today, you’ll embark on a journey to the world-famous Serengeti National Park, a vast and iconic wilderness that is home to the Great Migration and an incredible diversity of wildlife. Upon arrival at your tented camp or lodge within the park, you’ll have time to settle in and enjoy your first game drive in the afternoon, keeping your eyes peeled for the park’s iconic residents, such as lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, and countless species of antelopes and birds.

Day 6: Full Day in the Serengeti National Park

Spend a full day exploring the vast plains of the Serengeti. Your experienced safari guide will take you on morning and afternoon game drives, ensuring you have the best possible chances of witnessing the Great Migration (if occurring during your visit) and spotting the park’s iconic residents. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the heart of the Serengeti, surrounded by the stunning natural beauty.

Day 7: Serengeti National Park and Olduvai Gorge (Optional)

After an early morning game drive and breakfast, bid farewell to the Serengeti and begin your journey back towards Arusha. Along the way, you’ll have the opportunity to visit the renowned Olduvai Gorge (optional), a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most important paleoanthropological sites in the world, where some of the earliest human fossils were discovered.

Day 8: Departure from Arusha

After breakfast, you’ll be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, where your unforgettable northern circuit safari comes to an end. Depart with lasting memories of Tanzania’s incredible wildlife, stunning landscapes, and rich cultural experiences.
