Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

Welcome to Tanzania! Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, you will be met by your guide and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. Take the day to rest and recover from your journey or explore the vibrant town of Arusha at your leisure. Your guide will provide a briefing on the adventure ahead.

Day 2: Arusha to Serengeti National Park (Central Serengeti)

After breakfast, begin your journey with a scenic drive or optional flight to Serengeti National Park, one of the most celebrated wildlife sanctuaries in the world. As you enter the park, enjoy your first game drive en route to your accommodation in Central Serengeti. The region is famous for its dense wildlife population, including lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, and large herds of herbivores. Spend the evening relaxing at your lodge, surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness.

Day 3: Full-Day Game Drive in Serengeti (Central Serengeti)

Dedicate the day to exploring the heart of the Serengeti. Your expert guide will navigate the vast plains, taking you to the best spots for wildlife sightings. Depending on the time of year, you may encounter the spectacular Great Migration or witness predator-prey interactions. Central Serengeti offers a chance to see diverse habitats, from open plains to rocky outcrops called kopjes. Return to your lodge for a serene evening under the starry African sky.

Day 4: Serengeti National Park (Northern or Southern Serengeti)

Venture further into the Serengeti to explore its seasonal highlights. During migration months, travel to the Northern Serengeti for a chance to witness wildebeests and zebras crossing the crocodile-filled Mara River. In other months, head to the Southern Serengeti for calving season, where you may see newborns and heightened predator activity. Capture the essence of the Serengeti’s dynamic ecosystem before retiring to your accommodation.

Day 5: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Enjoy a morning game drive in Serengeti before heading towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. En route, stop at a Maasai village to learn about their unique culture and traditions. Arrive at your lodge on the crater rim in time to enjoy panoramic views of this natural wonder. The evening is yours to relax and prepare for the next day’s adventure.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive and Departure

Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a world-renowned wildlife haven. The crater floor offers exceptional game viewing opportunities, including the chance to spot the Big Five: lion, leopard, rhino, elephant, and buffalo. After a thrilling morning of wildlife exploration, ascend the crater and make your way back to Arusha. Depending on your flight schedule, you will be transferred to the airport for your onward journey.
