Day 1: Arusha to Lake Manyara

Your adventure begins with a morning departure from Arusha, heading towards Lake Manyara National Park. Prepare for a thrilling game drive, where you’ll experience the diversity of this remarkable park. With its mix of Rift Valley lake, dense woodlands, and steep mountainsides, Manyara is a haven for bird watchers with over 380 species. Keep your eyes peeled for the elusive leopards and the tree-climbing lions.

In the afternoon, visit Mto wa Mbu Village for a rich cultural experience. Guided by a local who grew up in the village, explore local farms, schools, and markets. Engage with the community and gain insight into their way of life before heading to Kirurumu Tented Lodge for dinner and a restful night.

Day 2: Lake Manyara to Serengeti

After breakfast, you’ll set out for the Serengeti National Park, one of Africa’s most celebrated wildlife reserves. The afternoon is reserved for a game drive through the Serengeti’s vast plains, where you’ll have the chance to witness the incredible Great Migration. Millions of wildebeests, zebras, and antelopes journey across the plains in search of fresh pastures, creating a spectacle like no other.

After an exhilarating day, enjoy dinner and overnight at Serengeti Kati Kati Tented Camp.

Day 3: Full Day in Serengeti

Spend the entire day exploring the Serengeti. Start with a morning game drive, followed by a picnic lunch, and continue your exploration in the afternoon. The Serengeti’s vastness and the sheer number of animals make every moment exciting. Whether it’s the predator-prey interactions or the endless herds of migrating animals, there’s always something to marvel at.

Return to your camp in the evening for dinner and relaxation under the African sky.

Day 4: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, embark on one last game drive through the Serengeti before heading to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Upon arrival, settle in at Rhino Lodge, perched on the crater rim, offering spectacular views and the perfect base for the next day’s exploration.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater to Lake Eyasi

Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, for a half-day tour. The crater’s diverse ecosystems are home to a variety of animals, including the Big Five. Enjoy a picnic lunch amidst this natural wonder before driving to Lake Eyasi.

In the evening, settle in at Lake Eyasi Safari Lodge and prepare for a cultural encounter with the Hadzabe tribe the next morning.

Day 6: Lake Eyasi to Tarangire

Rise early for an immersive experience with the Hadzabe tribe, one of the last hunter-gatherer societies in Africa. After breakfast, visit the Datoga Village to learn more about their traditional way of life. After lunch, proceed to Tarangire National Park, known for its majestic baobabs and large elephant herds.

After a short game drive, enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at Tarangire Safari Lodge.

Day 7: Tarangire to Zanzibar

Day 11: Stone Town Experience

Afterward, enjoy a meal at a spice restaurant and head to your hotel in Stone Town. Spend the afternoon exploring this historic town at your leisure.

Day 12: Departure

On your final day, depending on your flight schedule, explore more of Stone Town with a guided tour.
