The tour starts with lunch in Arusha town at 1230hrs. 1400hrs, drive to Tarangire National Park. Dinner and overnight at the lodge or camp (Sangaiwe Tented Lodge).
Enjoy a short and rewarding 2-day safari to Tarangire National Park, one of northern Tanzania’s most scenic wildlife destinations. The journey begins in Arusha with lunch before driving to Tarangire for an overnight stay at Sangaiwe Tented Lodge.
The following morning, explore Tarangire on a game drive through its open plains, baobab-dotted landscapes and wildlife-rich habitats. The park is especially known for elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest and a variety of predators including lions, cheetahs and leopards. After lunch, return to Arusha in the afternoon.
This itinerary is ideal for travelers with limited time who want to experience classic Tanzania wildlife and beautiful safari scenery in a relaxed two-day journey.

After breakfast embark on a morning game drive in the park.
Tarangire National Park (2,600km2) has unrivalled landscape of open plains, dotted with thousands of baobabs. It is located about 120kms south of Arusha. Tarangire is known for its lions and very big herds of buffalo. This is one of Africa’s little-known gems and should be on the itinerary of all lovers of wilderness and solitude. The animals includes zebra, wildebeest, buffalo, elephant, Maasai giraffe and fringe-eared oryx (gemsbok). Predators include lion, cheetah and leopard. Birders will want to look out for the endemic ashy starling, rufous-tailed weaver and black-collared lovebird.
Lunch at the lodge or camp. After lunch drive back to Arusha and drop-off at your hotel at around 17:00hrs
